So I have only seen episode 90 so far (since subs aren't yet out for 91 and probably won't be until tomorrow afternoon at the earliest I'd wager), but I have to say . . . no offense to his fans, no offense to whoever decided to include him in this show for whatever reason, but . . .

(And to get real fo a sec, it's always been a part of how I portray joris even in my platonic fics. Because he's a very codependent person dealing with a lot of intrusive thoughts & I don't think you can live with someone for 600 years without getting very sick about it.

The non-platonic content is just me taking this evil miasma; which was previously confined to how I presented Joris's inner thoughts; and saying "what if this was the actual reality he lived in, somehow."

I think it's ooc for Keke and i think none of this would happen without some wild series of events... But these wild and ooc series of events are a fun way to torture them & imagine how much more toxic things can become. My little AUs where everyone sufferers forever.)

I will never understand the fanfic impulse to take characters with thee most coo coo bananas codependent/nuanced/toxic/insane relationship and turn them into love interests #1 and #2 in a generic romance novel. like what is even the point anymore

yknow what im going to be honest i dont like this.

#not going to tag this bcs i dont wanna put baseless negativity in the tags #but its about that one horror game series that im a big fan of #i just dont trust the new things that's being released.#the podcast was cool but it was definitely a huge risk. adding voice and lore this solid could have ruined the whole thing.#the designs of the characters in the 3rd game feel off to me.#and now the comic is pushing its luck too. it doesn't have the same vibe as the old ones. it doesn't have the same vibe as the games at all #everything that's being revealed #from the aforementioned new enemies to this comic #reminds me vibewise much more of survival horror. particularly the mainstream kind #like silent hill or resident evil #these arent bad games but they are NOT like what this game is #and i became a fan of this game because it had this unique vibe #if this fucking studio will ruin it because they don't know how to handle it and will try to make it fit into a more general style of horro #then ill end up on the news #i didnt trust them from the start whyyyyyy why would you fucking give it to some stupid fucks that dont get how to do this shit #id prefer the franchise ended on the 2nd game rather than this honestly.
